Paper work

The other week I took on the challenge of organising merits and courses and such and realised I didn’t have originals for some things. Today I got a new paper, looks the same, but with a different signature, since the person that wrote it was retired. Well, I have now only originals on all the papers I set out to find.

There is however one thing that isn’t an original and that is my junior high school diploma. That I however lost many years ago. I had to go into state archives to get a signed copy. I have a valid such copy and I seldom need such an old grade. Scholarships can acquire it. Some trust founds have strange rules and in those cases you might even need such an old grade from the past. However my copy is valid as an orginal since it is signed by a state official. Well, anyways all my paper work is now in originals. Thanks for that.

Another part-time week and some more no thank you’s

With each job application you actually risk a bounce with “no thank you”. I actually dislike personal no thank you. I just want. “thanks, but we have chosen another applicant”. I think personal replies are more hurtful. Why do not reqruiters understand that? I am just wondering.

I have worked each day. 3 of 5 days were actually terrible experiences. I am happy I was in a good place today. A place with humane people. I am glad to end this week with nice people. Still, however, just coming up to part-time. Not so fun.

I have written applications for some other people and they have been reviewed by a “pro”. Haha. The “pro” had never seen such a complete and well written application. Imagine that. It was to good, so it had to be taken “down” in quality. What the? The stuff in the application were just right, but the language was just to “perfect” somehow was the comment. Hahahaha. It sounded like the person behind the application was ay much smarter than it had to be, even though it was just a appliction written to show the experiences and work tasks done in the past that match the new job. However, people can feel less, from such a perfect application so it had to be leveled down. Hahahaaha. What am I to say. I cannot really explain it in English, but  in Swedish it is easier to do so.

Well, the “pro” was very much impressed and said that the person that had written it was a professional. Hahahahaha. That was really fun. The “pro” of course knew some afterwards of who had written it and the person understood. It had never seen such good quality on a job application before. Imagine that. To good for some…. imagine that to. Blää. Stupid job market. Just saying.

Is it dangerous to be smarter than average??? That is the question. If people argue like that they are the stupid ones.

The thinking human

Are you a thinking human? Or are you no different from an animal? Some say animals have no soul. Some say animals are pure instinct. So what are we? If not animals. Do we not have souls? Do we have instinct? Can we react in instinct? So if we can act on instinct, are we not thinking? Who says animals do not think? Who says animals do not have souls?

Animals have souls, if we humans have souls. Humans that act on instinct is no proof for not having a soul. Just like acting on instinct is no proof that we do not think it is the same for animals. I cannot even understand how such misconceptions even can have been spread. Everything that is alive has a soul. Even a tree that is alive has a soul.

So what is a soul? That is the question. What happens to a soul after death? That is also a question. Thinking may not solve all those questions. But perhaps it will make you understand that you do not know much about life really. Life is a mystery, just like Madonna sings. Well, is it like Descartes said: ” I am thinking therefore I exist”. So if an animal doesn’t think doesn’t the animal exist? You see, the answers are there, only if you start thinking…

In China its illegal to neglect your old parents

Some laws in other countries seem so different from my part of reality. According to Aftonbladet.se Chinese children are obligated to visit old parents regulary. If they do not, they can be sued. How often they have to visit the law doesn’t say, according to Aftonbladet.se. There is no welfare system in China to provide for old parents. According to the article there are very few alternatives for those that cannot provide for themselves. So if you live in China you need to save all your life, so you can be supported when old. In fact that is what we do in Sweden too. We pay part of our saleries to a pension system. If you die – all the others in the pension system get what you earned. So that is the difference, at least for the state pension. For the private pensions you can take out a insurance so that your relatives may inherit your money. If you take out the insurance, then you get less pension. This is how the Swedish system works. On top of what you earn the companies can pay additional fees if they have signed agreements for that. If you earn a lot and the company only pays the state fees, your pension will not be that high. I have earned a lot sometimes, but without the collective agreement my pension has decreased during those periods. So sometimes a lower salery can give me more pension if the companies have collective agreements (kollektivavtal).

In order for the pension system to work, people cannot grow much older than today, otherwise we probably will have to higher the age for retirement. I am thinking I perhaps won’t even have a pension to speak of at retirement. Perhaps I have to work until I die. Who knows? Maybe I do not even grow that old? Who knows? Nobody knows. If one knew… I wonder what one would do? I do not think I want to know. Do you want to know when you die?

I was in the subway system and one add on the wall caught my attention

I was standing there on the plattform one morning. There isn´t much to do when waiting for the subway train to arrive. Usually I look at the walls. Often the walls contain adds or art. This time the walls contained adds from NK. NK is a collection of stores in a high end galleria in the middle of Stockholm. I however do not go there other than to buy perfume in the basement floor… that is mostly since they have the products I am buying. I don´t have a choice so to speak, well if I don´t wanna buy a gift that is enjoyed then of course I can buy something else…

Well, when I was standing there I looked at the different adds. The concept was to “get a new you”. The images where artistic and I do not believe anyone actually would dress like the concept in the images. However people do buy the pieces that the young women where using. And the focus was on pieces in the adds. One piece in each add was lifted up with headers like “Skirt from Nude” 1000 SEK, or similair. One of the products was a west from a designer label. It cost something between 29 000-30 000SEK. I was thinking who buys a leppard west for more than a average month salery? Hmm…

I don´t know who of the people on the plattform would pay that for a west… I was wondering if a person that does buy something expensive like that really travels with subway? Then would they take the cycle or walk? Hmm.. Would they even work? It´s difficult to have a car if you live in the inner parts of the city. So maybe they do have this public in the subway system…. but then who earns so much money that they can …. waist… that much money on a west? Hmmm. Well in Sweden a average income is like 23000 SEK and that is before taxes. Remove taxes around 31% in Stockholm area from that. So this means that the amount the person would have to pay is for a average income in Sweden about 1,5 month salery. So I am guessing not to many actually can buy it.

So how is this advertisement agency, where the majority cannot afford the item, thinking? I think that it will be “copied” by HM or some other retailer and then the girls and boys can dress the part without having the original high end labels. After all, everyday in Metro (a free “newspaper” available at the subway stations) we can see tips how to dress like celebrities for smaller amounts of money.

It won´t take to much time before the clothes are copied if they now happen to be in fashion or get in fashion.

So even if people won´t buy the clothes featured in the adds in the subway, the adds will effect the public. We will consider it fashion much due to the price… I am guessing. Expensive = celebs favourites perhaps? I do not know if its so they are thinking, but even if they do not think it the price gives status to the garment. Status is admired in this twisted world. Therefor people will be effected. The adds will have a impact on how the girls in Stockholm are going to dress.

Fashion shows if you are the inn people or not. Thanking God for classic clothes, no need to stay in fashion that way…. and allways be dressed right. Not saying I am not dressing in fashion… I don´t care if I am or not. I just dress as I please. Sometimes it just happens to be in fashion… Sometimes all my clothes are worn out at a certain time and the stores only offer fashion clothes… then it´s fashion… Vintage would be an option if they where available in all sizes, but they never seem to have. I love vintage, beeing both unique and saving the world at the same time. I love it.

Is Facebook breaking the law?

That is the question. In todays Aftonbladet.se Facebook is storing private chats and people are auto tagged with the newest techniques. You don´t need any forensic tools anymore to have access to the same technology – face recognition software is availble on Facebook. The tagging of photos automatically is just the same sort of program. You know the auto-tagging of friend in your photos? That´s it.

At current Facebook is, according to the article under source, saving chat conversations and autosearching the content to track pedofiles they say. However with such a function it is possible to search more… can Facebook track employees that do crimes? Can they log all activity they themselves are doing. How can they guarantee that noone gets access to the saved conversations? In fact, if a cracker gets inside they cannot…
So what is the point if you delete your conversation? Is it still in backups? Can they recreate the conversation? What if something is “flagged” and your private conversation, that was supposted to be private, was read by someone at Facebook? I don´t think any search system for private chats should be allowed. I don´t want anyone to know what I am saying in private to a friend. It´s a intergrity violation. Facebook is doing so, even if their quest is “noble” like they wanna think. I am going to lobby for NO tracking of any conversations in chats. They should never be allowed to keep such data. They didn´t use to, now they do. They are not the police, they are not the judge, still they act like it.
I want tuffer legislation. Private companies should not be allowed to store any chats, searches or what you have surfed on in any circumstances. It´s a threat to democracy in fact.

If you are watched all the time, you stop doing what you want. You start to censour yourself. That is the way to downfall for democracy. It´s like beeing a hostige at these companies Google, Facebook and so forth.

Somebody jokes around with our King of Sweden

Somebody is spreading coins around Sweden. They look real enough, but are not a fake, since they are totally different than a regular coin. Instead of saying “Sveriges Konung, Carl XVI Gustaf”, they say “Vår horkarl till kung”. The name is not mentioned, but his profile is on the coin though, according to DN.se. It means something like: “Our king the whoremaster”.

In other countries making such remarks on a king would result in life long sentences in jail.
