Fireworks are causing fires all over the world
In all the news we can read about fires starting in Sweden, Thailand and other parts of the world today, new years eve, due to fireworks catching fire on buildings and such. Some see their life work gone in a few minutes. Others start off the new year homeless. It is said that people do not understand how dangerous fireworks and Thai lanterns really are. They can even cause a plane to crash. Just saying. Be careful. Let the big boys, like the firedeparment, handle the fireworks.

Snart blir kl.00.00 och nya året i Sverige börjar. Än är det sista dagen på 2012 och några timmar kvar till 2013.
Soon the clock will strike 00.00 and the new year of 2013 starts. But in Sweden it is still 2012 and some hours left until the clock strikes 2013.

The bills are crazy many
The invoices/bills are so many this month that they could support a entire village in a developing country for a year. Then again they do not have the high living expences as our cold land of Sweden has. We need warm living quaters in order to survive minus Celcius.
I read an article in Aftonbladet about how some families are just trying to manage daily costs. I wish I knew a poor family that I could help. I would like to be able to talk to one and ask them what they need. Not what they want, I want to know what they need. The basics. Then I would get them what I would be able to give them.
I gave away some money to Majblomman. They help poor families with kids in Sweden.
I really cannot afford to give away money this month, but I try to anyway. I can spare a small amount and i.e. eat nudles for a few days.
I am thinking what type of kids want an Ipad? How old are they really? My kid really does not ask for anything yet, to young I am guessing.
My spouse has made christmas food today. I am thinking that there are too many dishes on the table as usual. Who wants to eat christmas food for a few weeks? I am happy with a traditional food dish from my mothers country. Then meatballs, potatoes and some lettuce (with ingridents) and some beetroot salad. Then I am happy. That is, for me, christmas food. And to this you should drink Julmust, a typical drink for Swedes at Christmas. Jammi. Nam. Nam.
But then I have the spouse… making ham and all other types of food for the christmas table. Then add my sibling that prefers vegatables mostly. Haha. Well. Too much food on the table I am saying. We could really have a poor family over with us, there is enough food for them too. So therefore I am a little sad that I do not know people that cannot afford to give the kids a real christmas dinner.
I was the child in a poor family for a while. I know what it is like to never have new clothes, not have the latest stuff. Therefor I started working at 13 (for money, I have helped at home from 7). This way I could buy whatever I needed. Usually movie tickets. I have always enjoyed the world of fiction. Well. I just felt that Majblomman was the right organisation to give to this christmas. So I have.

Alliansen snackar bara om nya bostadsområden i sin utbyggnad av kollektivtrafiken
Det finns fler områden än nybyggen som behöver bättre kollektivtrafik. Det är inte sjysst att det tar 10-15 minuter varje morgon att gå till bussen, pendeltåget eller tunnelbanan i vissa områden. Vissa områden har SL och kommunpolitikerna i Stockholm glömt bort. Vissa har skitkassa bussförbindelser, täcker inte hela bostadsområdet med linjetrafiken på ett vettigt sätt och många har långt att gå till färdmedlen som erbjuds. Många områden har ingen direktkommunikation med T-centralen och bussar och tunnelbana matchar inte varann i tid. Själv får jag stå och vänta 15 minuter på den förbannade bussen när jag kliver av tunnelbanan. Vore ju trevligt om bussen matchade tunnelbanan, vilket den gör kanske max 2 ggr per dag… och då mest för att man haft tur. När man ska hem från jobbet vill man komma hem fort. Man är trött, hungrig och vill bara hem så fort det går.
Nej, ni Moderater, Folkpartister, Centerpartister och Kristdemokrater i dagens DN.se gör tunnelbanan tillgänglig i områden den passerar först och främst, så vi kan slippa de förbannade bytena till jobbet mellan 4 olika färdmedel: promenad, vänta, buss, vänta, tunnelbana, byte, vänta, tunnelbana. Det tar enorm tid och är jobbigt. Väldigt jobbigt. Låt mig slippa färdmedel vänta och buss. Låt mig ha direktkommunikation till T-centralen. Låt alla områden ha det. Där är knutpunkten. Så satsa på att alla områden som trots att de haft boende i flera tiotal år ännu inte fått vettiga kommunikationer. I många år har alla vi önskat och muttrat på busshållplatserna om hur skitdåligt det är. Vi har lämnat önskemål och SL skiter fullständigt i våra önskemål.
Gamla områden ska prioriterar framför nya områden. Vi har väntat länge nog! Nu får det vara nog. Och nu byggs det för fullt här, mer människor i omlopp kommer göra att allt tar ännu längre tid. GÖR NÅGOT NU!

I have seen new Windows 8 – Jag har sett nya Windows 8
The other day this week I attended a meeting and one of the persons there had a Windows 8 machine. It was a very strange version of Windows. The start button is totally gone! Say by by to the start button. So this made it very difficult for all the presenters at the event… they didn´t know how the Windows 8 machines functioned.
So when reading about the new Windows 8 version in Dn.se today made me smile. I have allready seen the damn thing. It will take some time to get used to it. It “looks the same” but in my eyes it´s very different. Missing buttons. It still takes time for me to find everything in the Office version that came some years ago. Print button and save as where very well hidden. Frustrating for many users I would imagine.
The DN.se article says the test version has been out for a year and that many have been unsatisfied with it.
The Windows 8 looks like a mobile phone the article says. Also the article says that the persons wonder why they should change when Windows 7 works fine?
I am wondering why I allways must change. It´s bad for the environment. I would like to be able to use my PC and new software for my PC for many years to come, without spending to much money or stuff on it. It´s expensive and in bad times I do not have the luxury to upgrade to everything new. I am after all a regular person with a small wallet. So no, I won´t change…
