Statistics can make you depressed

It is very easy to get depressed and feel that there is no point in trying when you look at statistics from a “world perspective”. However this is exactly what SVD.se has done. I get depressed reading that there are 197 million unemployed people in the world. If that number wasn’t enough they also say that this is going to increase most likely to 210 million unemployed.

197 million unemployed. How nice. 197 million people struggling and trying to find jobs that do not exist. 197 million people not having a part in the world societies work force.

Cruel world – some have nothing and other’s have 2,5 billion SEK in salery

I think that Cook, the Apple CEO can take a salery reduction on 99%. I cannot even understand how the Apple company even could give such a high salery as 2,5 billion SEK last year? Even if he know gets 1% of his former salery, as the article in SVD.se says, he still gets more than entire villages in a developing country get in many many years. I think it is absurd that a person can have saleries over millions and millions of SEK. Or any other currency about the same value. I even happen to think 1,2 million per year is a great deal. Many executives get saleries like that. I think it is a joke that some get so much while a full time worker kan get a total of 120 000 sek per year before taxes. Absurd. I do not think people diserve many millions in salery. That is a over capacity of money going to the wrong cause. Employ another person, so people do not have to work as hard on the floor in the factories. Afterall people have fainted in Apple factories. Absurd. Apple should be ashamed. I think the salery could be even lowered more. 27 million SEK per year, the Apple CEO still gets, according to SVD.se. All CEO:s should lower their many million dollar saleries. Hasn’t anyone noticed a economic crises?

And here I am, just wanting to be debt free. Free from loans on houses and student loans. That is it.

School administrator accused of stealing 22 million SEK

A Swedish school administrator has been accused of stealing 22 million. Her apartment door is unlocked, her wallet was on the table and her keys and her mobile was left on the table, according to the article in Aftonbladet. Nobody knows what has happened to her. Is she a victim of a crime? Or has she disappeared voluntarily?

The table was set for breakfast and the newspaper was also on the table, according to the article. If she left, then she left in a hurry. Or maybe she was forced? The police doesn’t know.

In Greece a programmer stole 9 million people’s information

Like I have said earlier, you cannot trust people at work places. If you distrust people then it wouldn´t be possible for a Greek programmer to steal the personal information for 9 million Greeks in a nation with 11 million people (source for facts: SVD.se). Just saying.

I have meet people that keep their code on a usb stick after leaving. Many programmers keep seeing their code as their own. They take the solutions with them to other work places. They look in their old code for smart solutions. In fact they make their old job easier that way. Well. If that is possible, what more information cannot the programmers take from the system? In this case 9 million personal numbers and such. I am wondering what he is thinking of doing. Some kind of search program? The article doesn´t say.

Well. This is the risk by having information in electric form. Everything can be stolen as misused. So are you still using Facebook? What other sites are you using? Can you trust a private company? Are you sure?

If you cannot trust the state… do you think a private company is more trust worthy? Just saying. Think about it. Think a little bit further. So? What do you say? Continue life and give away all your information for free? Lucky you!

I have an free product solution – you are welcome to create it and be a millionaire!

This is my specification of a better Information technology world. You all inventors out there, are welcome to create these products. I think that you might even be a millionaire if you do so… and I just congratulate you if you get to be that!

1. Rule: I want all computer components to have non extractable ID´s. The only way you should be able to see the ID is by looking at the computer. It should not be extractable electronically in ANY way!

This means: MAC numbers vanish! Serial numbers vanish! At least all that can be extracted electrically!

2. Rule: No Unique IP numbers for Internet users. No handshaking with IP numbers in order to communicate. The session could instead be a “temporary number”, a number that is changed on the next webpage.

This means: No more unique identifiers of users on the Internet.

3. Rule: No hackable browsers. Browsers should not allow any access to any information from the users. A special browser function should be implemented for connection that need electronic ID. This function should be turned off at all times, expect when the user wants to use it. It should be non accessable function from Internet. Maybe it means a hardware button on the computer in order for it to work.

This means: No allowence for any webpages to get the users ID. No more Googlification!

4. Rule: No operating systems with communication wholes. It should be all closed communication options as default. The firewalls should be able to deny all except one port for Internet communications. This port should not be allowed to talk to any parts of the computer inside.

This means: No tricky settings for users in order to have a computer that is non accessable.

5. Usability friendly implementations. A idiot must understand how to use the software and hardware.

This means: No problems understanding how to configurate so the computer is safe. Today there are to many configuration options.

6. Special function in browsers and firewalls for game mode. I know that gaming requires totally different accessable things from a computer. This must however be so that no editiing of PC can be done under game mode.

This means: The computer should not be at risk, even though server would be turned on. No editing of computer should be allowed at ANY time.

7. More fun stuff on the PC is also wanted. What that is must be up to you. I have more ideas, but those are all just mine for now.
