Riots in Turkey

There have been riots in Turkey for several days now. According to Expressen.se a Swedish man was injured badly in his leg. It is sad to read that there are riots every now and then in the world. However, as I understood it, they say there are islamic power factors in ruling in Turkey, factors trying to control how people live.

In SVT news, earlier the latest week, a witness said that they forbid kissing in the Turkish subway…

Control over how we live our lives is bad. We are already controlled on so many levels. Banks know what you eat, your hobbies and were you are a customer. The subway is impossible to be anonymous at, hence they can connect the subway card to you, if not through money transactions, then from the many cameras in the subway system. Also the state knows if you had good grades, if you finished school, who you are related to (at least from the point you arrived, or your relatives arrived and many hundreds of years back, if you didn’t have unknown relatives of course), if you have children and so on.

Through the doctors records they know your health history. Through every idiot system they know a lot of you. Connect all the systems and you perhaps understand how much control they have over you. For what purpose? And imagine then a state that wants to tell you who to fuck, not to fuck, no matter if you have adult consent, who you may kiss in the subway and so on. I can understand that states do not want you to fuck on the subway, after all there are people who do not want live sex, but a kiss and a hug and holding hands, I think that if you cannot handle that – then you surely have issues. Perhaps you shouldn’t go out in public if you cannot take people showing each other love. Actually it is good that people show love instead of crime and riots. That is what I think. It makes the world a nicer place. Say something nice to someone today.

And I do accept friendly democratic ways of trying to change the world, however tear gas and violence is not acceptable. Just saying.

The car

Compared to finding a person that is missing my car issues are like a piss in the sea. Finally the insurance company believed our story and decided to pay the damages the old women caused on our car some months ago. First we got a letter saying they wouldn’t pay and I had to pay the cost of someone leaving the scene with no witnesses. However in this case my partner sat in the car and I walked towards my waiting partner when I saw this old women doing harm to my car. I think this old women did a bad thing not taking on responsibility for what she did. One would think a 80-year-old would have learned her life lessons and taken some responsibility. After all it don’t cost her a thing, it is the cars insurance that pays the damages. Some people are just plain evil and bad. She was. She even wanted to leave the crime scene and not write a report. We even called the police to the scene. We got at least the report. After that it has been a long process against the insurance company.

When I got the first insurance company letter saying they wouldn’t pay I booked a time at a company that removes buckles with a technique that only cost 800 SEK. I had booked that. I also “överklagade” appealed the insurance companies decision. The fun thing about all this is that my partners friend works at that insurance company, so it is like them saying they do not believe in their friend… I was about to tell my partner to give up the friendship. That is how angry I was.

I am however happy, but still angry, that they changed their decision to our benefit.

This isn’t the only bad thing that has happened, afterall not everything is on my blog. I might however tell after I know the outcome.

Doctors with God complex

What should we say about doctors with God complex? One would say doctors play God every day. I would say that the only thing that God has given them the right to do is to save life, not take it. So when they are taking the life it´s the choice of a murderer and human and not God. So why are doctors sometimes so eager to give away organs of humans that are actually alive? Why are doctors so eager to pull the trigger? I would like a view on life that every life is worth saving if you can. I think that if you can try, you can try. I would like not just doctors for human physiology to save life. I want also pet veterinaries to save lifes. I had a pet, when the pet was less than a year old the pet fell from the balcony when I wasn´t watching. The vet said it was better to put him down (kill him). I didn´t want to listen, I took the pet home. The vet had missed a lot of problems on the cat and mistreated it since he gave the wrong diagnosis. However I got the right diagnosis finally and my pet got the help it needed. Today this pet is really old. Now the final days have come. But the vet was wrong and I was right not to give up hope. The pet has lived a long and happy life and I have had a friend every day all of my adult life. I am thankful for this, since this is the pet that has turned out to live the longest of all my pets. Non of the other pets have ever had such a long life.

I think we shouldn´t give up on people either. If they want to live they perhaps find a way to live. We only have one life as us. One life to live. Even though someone might not be able to communicate, they can still feel and hear. Who knows how the mind works? We do not know much about brain death. We do not understand the soul. We are just in the beginning of knowing. So when the heart still beats how can we really say someone is dead?

There was a girl in Denmark. She was said to be dead and the brain acitity decreasing. The family agreed upon the doctors wishes to shut the machines down and harvest the organs. When doing so and prepping organ donation the girl started showing  signs of life. When seeing vital signs the hostpital started the health care again and phoned her family. Then she woke up and has now started to ride horses again, according to Expressen.se.

Imagine beeing prononced dying and then getting your organs stolen even though you are alive… I think this is murder. No other thing than health care industry playing God. I do not believe that we still know enough to say people are dead before their hart stops and they do not breath anymore. Then you can harvest the organs… but there must be some kind of waiting period. And all doctors shouldn´t be so eager to save money and take the organs. People must still have chance to stay alive. Some need more time. When I was young a man was in a coma for 30 years the newspapers said. Then he finally woke up one day. His mother never gave up on him. Thanks to her he can now live the reminder of his life with the rest of us.

The doctor has had a nervous breakdown after the incident. But actually I think he was only following what he has been thought. He should now write scientific material so this does not happen to any other patient nor doctor. He should warn the rest of the world. I think that would be a good way for him to go forward. I think there is a reason for his experience. God saved him before he did wrong. The girl woke up only from a miracle. I think the doctor should see it as a gift and now do some divine work. The doctor should pull him or herself together and do good. I think s/he will find joy in doing so.

Life is sacred and if we can we should try to save it more often then we do.

Bad routines at hospitals and people get injured

I read an article in Aftonbladet.se about a man in Linköping that was operated and placed at RiL (Regionsjukhuset i Linköping). However after the operation of his foot that was injured in a accident they placed him at another part of the hospital, since they had to few beds within the correct part of the hospital. They forgot about him and the doctors round didn´t go to him and thanks to that when they did remember him three muscles were dying and couldn´t be saved. The hospital just said they were sorry and now he has to live with a injury that makes him crippled for life and not able to continue his sports. The hospital just said they had reported themselves.

I happen to believe that the doctor and nurses should be “prickade” (dotted) for mistakes like forgetting to do their job. When 3 dots, then loose their license to practice. I do not want to be injured for the rest of my life because of neglect from health care industry. If their job isn´t to have responsibity then it is the bosses fault that the personal has no time to make the processes better. If the boss has told the Landstingsstyrelsen that the boss needs resources and not gotten them, then it´s the politicians fault. Maybe politicians that make wrong choices also should have some consecvenses, maybe “böter”, like a ticket? They do not have a license to they have nothing to loose and in order for them to do something it must be a feelable consecevense.

There should be a alarming system for health care personel if they cannot seem to do their job within their responsibilty. There should be no “forgetting” of patients. Especially within health care were the consecevense is death or injuries that cause harm.

There must be consecvenses, then people start to take action and care. This is my strong point of view. Caring and double checking things doesn´t come naturally to everyone. However in this case a man probably would had better changes of a really good life if they just had remembered to do their job.

Cold facts – Swedish health care darkens child birth injuries

Due to that some Landsting (the Swedish state organises health care through Landstinget) have incentive projects were the midwifes has gotten critic during salery negotiations for having to many ruptures during child birth (source Uppdrag Granskning) some midwifes has starten to hide ruptures (sfinkterrupturer) that really should need a operation for the mother giving child birth. In fact these types of child births where the midwife doesn´t report injuries and hides the injuries for the mothers can result in life long handicaps for the women.

I am thinking there should be no incentive for neither discovering injuries nor not discovering injuries. Either way it can be misused, therefor my suggestion is that there is no incentive for this either way.

However hearing about this on the Uppdrag Granskning program today made me furrious. The mothers needs and life quality doesn´t seem anything worth for the Swedish health care system. I get disappointed that these people are even working in health care. No nurse or doctor should do harm. Quality assurance should allways be done. Maybe a thorough examination should be done after each child birth? After all the problems that the child birth injuries can give mean job losses, sexual activity losses and incontinence etc for the women. Something a operation close to the birth could possibly fix.

All Landsting need quality assurance after child birth, new rutines. All women should be offered examnination and it should be volountary. Not doing the examination should be an option, but the women must be informed of all risk not doing the examination.

If the British research surrounding child birth reptures is true (mentioned in the Uppdrag Granskning show), then 10 000 women in Sweden have been unjured each year, 6000 of them not having any diagnosis. That is bad considering all the problems they can get from these severe injuries mentioned in the TV-program Uppdrag Granskning.

I am saying the problem is not on indiviual layer like one boss in the tv program wanted to say. I happen to think that if a midwife doesn´t get the right training she won´t have the skills. She must be given the time and training for it. And today with cost losses I believe that they cannot get the training they really need.

I do not think that we should have any incentive programs in health care for finding or not having injuries. That is just bad. I think that quality assurance should be done more than it is today. Bosses need more power to fire people that do not want to work for more quality assurance and a better way of working. I want a future oriented health care. I want more effective health care, to do that all occupations need time to be educated and informed. When cutting costs these things cannot be done, but I happen to think they are necessary in the long run. What is otherwise the point of health care if they cannot help the population?

På dagens Uppdrag Granskning fick vi teorier om att barnmorskor mörkar för patienterna att deras underlivsskada i verkligheten kräver operation, då det inte är en ytlig skada utan även inre skada. Huruvida detta är sant eller inte vet jag inte. Nåväl, det förekommer i alla fall konspirationsteorier om detta från medverkande i programmet. Också visar programmet att ett av våra Landsting, som de tittat på, har bonussystem. I ett av Landstingen lär personal fått frågor på sina löneförhandlingar om varför de haft så mycket förlossningsskador osv. De har alltså i ett underläge, dvs löneförhandling fått höra dessa fakta som något negativt. Klart att barnmorskor då inte vågar berätta när skador uppstår. Det ska inte finnas något bonussystem alls, varken för att hitta eller inte hitta fel. Patienterna ska få den bästa vården punkt slut. Behövs en operation så ska det erbjudas. Annars ser jag inte vitsen med att ha sjukhus alls. Kvinnorna ska förvänta sig kvalitet i vården. För det behövs rutiner, undersökningar och inget förbannat slarv. Lathet. Skylla på individnivån är bara lågt, men en av cheferna i programmet säger att de måste gå ned på individnivå med kritik.

Jag säger att det är mer komplicerat än individnivå. Det handlar om att få rätt introduktion till sitt jobb. Idag skärs det ned och besparas här och där och hur kan vi då förvänta oss effektivitet om inte upplärningen av nya barnmorskor är optimal? Jag bara undrar. Varför skuldbelägga någon individ när det kanske handlar om skitkassa utbildningar och skitkassa chefer?

Alltså jag har sett min beskärda del av inkompetens på ledningsnivå på många företag och ibland ges inte de anställda mandat eller tid eller resurser att förändra, förbättra och verkligen öka kvalitén. Men i Reinfeldts Sverige vill de ju allt för ofta skylla på individen. Även arbetslöshet lär ju vara individens fel i Moderatens värld, i alla fall är det som sägs och den politiken som bedrivs. Hur ska jag kunna trolla fram fler jobb att söka? Det är liksom 10 sökanden på 1 jobb. Alla tio kan inte få jobbet, utan bara en! Det är simpel matematik, det fattar till och med lågstadieeleverna.

Nåväl, tillbaks till vården. Vården kan behöva bli effektivare, men jag tycker mig ofta se ett motstånd mot förändring på en del arbetsplatser. Där gäller det att cheferna har mandatet att faktiskt sparka dem som inte vill följa politikernas vision. Jag tycker mycket kan effektiviseras. Mycket kan förbättras. Barnmorskornas jobb borde innefatta förbättringsarbete och kvalitetsvisioner. De borde få mer tid för att förädla och förbättra, så att 6000 kvinnor inte går hem till livslångt lidande. Det ska inte kunna hända att en kvinnas liv är förstört för att någon barnmorska inte fått tillräckligt med handledning eller pga något dumt bonussystem som får dem att inte våga berätta om förlossningsskador.
