Painted the floor

I have painted two layers of paint on the concrete floor. Damn the floor is cold. Concreate isn’t very nice to walk on, I tried when painting the floor so dirt would get on it after cleaning it before painting. I could take it for five minutes, then I just had to put the shoes on. The radiator is installed. The ventilation is somewhat in place, just need to put some glue. I have repainted parts of the wall and roof, where necessary. I still missed a few spots… so I need to redo them. 

I need to buy more paint for the floor, since the floor looks like a pink ocean and not solid pink. It is really good looking with a pink floor, imagine that. I haven’t put up the spotlights yet, however the hooks for them are in place. 

I have also planted flowers in the pots outside. I had 18 flowers to put in the pots, so not all pots got flowers. However it looks better with some flowers in many of them anyway. 

I still haven’t done any gardening work on the flowerbeds… The neighbour has… so the flowersbeds look better on the other side of the entrance… well… just wait. I am going to do that to, but there is a time and place for everything. I had time to do the flower pots when the paint on the floor was drying. Tomorrow I will buy more paint for the floor. I do not know when I will do the new layer on the floor. I am all alone with the kid, since my partner is volountering abroud for a organisation. 

I painted the floor in the middle of the night, when the kid was sleeping. Haha. Like tonight. I am however a night person, I have a lot of energy in the evening to do body work. However garden work isn’t especially practical to do in the middle of the night… since it is totally dark outdoors this time of year. 

Well, the out house is taking shape. Just some finishing touches and wallpaper to do. Then the furnishing. That will be interesting. The “new” book shelf will probably look real good in there. It will transform the former boring out house with no soul to a fun place to be around.

Laughing my ass off to the advertisement from ComHem. They put two women in “film” and other phenomena in their ads. Now they really pushed it and made the Gagnam Style to the Comhem style. Haha. The ad makers… I wonder who they are. One of my former class mates is an ad maker. I have seen some of that persons ads… and well… I am not surprised.

Enjoy this, even though it is really an ad. So when is the Harlem Shake coming for an ad? Pretty soon I am guessing.

In todays Aftonbladet.se we can read that Facebook wants to keep track on you all the time. According to the article Facebook are developing a application tracker for you so that you may know where your friends are all the time. The app will register whereever you are, even if you are not using the application, according to the article. 

So what do you think? Still wanna get Facebook? Still wanna use all their apps? They are totally tracking you. With all this information they can know who you are and your thoughts even before you make them. Do you want them to? Are you sure?

Operating systems go heywire

I was experimenting yesterday with freeware and shareware. It ended up with my computer telling me my Operating systems wasn’t valid this morgning. However I didn’t have time to check it out. I went to work as a temp today too. Well, upon arrival home I continued the computers problem. I suddenly had to enter my serial number in the computer, like I was some kind of hacker, even though I wasn’t. I only have legal stuff.

Anyways. I entered the serial number. The computer turned on, but looked different. It was not in default mode and not in my mode either. I had to reset all settings. I called the vendor to ask them what was wrong. Got a long story about this being totally normal… but heywired. So they said there was nothing to worry about. This was a common problem when downloading freeware. *Sigh*. Quality assurance has surely not been on top of their list, or perhaps the quality assurance personnel haven’t been listend to as usual. That is pretty common, QA finding, development not doing.

Well. Anyways. I was experimenting with sounds. I am thinking of making videofilms with images and sounds to place on my blog. For this I needed the correct software. Now I have it. I experimented with that the other day.

Well. Now I am gonna relax a little, after all I have worked today too.

My printer hasn’t worked for a long time

When you are working you do not have time t look into repairs and stuff. A printer isn’t usually so important as long as you do not have time to call any support and such. I finally took the time to get a replacement printer. It is so good to have a printer that works. Finally having one makes so much possible. And it didn’t cost me a thing. Thanks for that.

At some workplaces I have had the option of Roland printers. Oh mine, that is printers. Imagine being able to print you own stickers, your own big posters and even canvas paintings. That is a joy. As a private person those things cost too much. But what a joy it would be to print your own stuff. Well, I just have to be glad I can print A4 papers. Some do not even have printers. Sometimes I can let print stuff at a printing office. I have done that sometimes. It doesn’t cost that much. There are also online services that you can use.

Even if you are unemployed it can be good to have business cards, this way you can always give your contact info to someone you meet. However do not give just any information to any people. Have a special mail for the business card. This way the spammers end up in a special mail box and you can easily chance the mailbox if needed.

Well, today I have done some errands and I am done for today. I have applied for some work as well. So I feel confident to relax the rest of the evening.

The cold is hanging on

The cold is terrible, making me cough, snot and sneeze. I feel like a slime-machine. Finally the cortisone, cough medicine and snot medicine wasn’t good enough. Tonight I was coughing and coughing. I am currently not enjoying the fact that my partner and kid is coming home today. I wish they would stay away. I am sick and I don’t want them to get sick. And the risk is very high they will. This cold is terrible. And the last thing I need is to take care of someone else. I want to be alone. If I was rich we would have a small apartment in town where one could go to be away from the family. Tonight was a bad night. I felt like I was getting breathless every time I coughed. Finally I took the cortisone tablets. I could then after 1 hour fall to sleep. When I finally woke up, almost at mid day I felt heavy. Like the body was too heavy to carry around. I have now eaten breakfast. I feel much better when eating cortisone. That is the effect of it, it is somewhat an artificial “feeling better”. However it makes life easier and all the risks are worth feeling better when you feel like shit in you lungs. I am thinking I do not want to neither leave or fetch the kid from kindergarten this week. I risk infecting all the kids… and then this cold would go around and around and around. I do not want the kid at home at all if I could choose… I want to get well first and foremost.

Still coughing

The cold is hanging on. I found some Acetylsalicystein in the medicine cabinet. I took it least night. This was a good choice. This way the slime could come up more easily. I hate having this cold and I am getting bored with being to tired to do stuff. Not that I have anything I must do. I would however prefer to go out and buy food. But it is not so that I must. I have food to eat, just not what I want… but still eatable. So I am staying home, even though I have a want for ice cream. I wonder why? since I am feeling warm? This night I woke up a couple of times having to go to the bathroom. I was sweating a lot. Also I had to pi since I have been drinking lemonade a lot. Well. I really hoping for this cold to vanish from my body now. Get out all viruses! And all bacteria, if any, that are helping this cold. I want to be me again. Energetic and full of life.

Finally I found the proof reading function

I have blogged on other portals over the years until I changed to WordPress. However I have not been able to understand, nor find all of the functions yet. I still keep finding new functions on WordPress. I cannot say I have been looking for all of them though. There is one function I would like to find. I hate WordPress function that gives me a “dummy” version of publishing. That page is in fact useless for me that publishes videos and writes text. I want to go directly to the Dashboard. I like the wp-admin look much better. I haven’t found the function for that yet… if it exists.

Today I found a function ment for proof reading. Obviously this function wasn’t automatically turned on. I knew there was ABC, but today I actually found an automated function. So I turned it on. I also checked some of the latest articles. I am laughing my ass off to some of my spelling. Well. I am at least spelling the same words wrong all the time. Choosing the wrong pronouns too. I know there are some words that I never did learn during English classes. After all I only studied English until high school, after I haven’t really studied English. Well, not that the university didn’t have books in English. They did. I read them. But still, that doesn’t make me a good speller. Haha. Well. I allways spell wrong on always. Haha. Well, never mind. Live with it. At least I now know that allways is always wrong. In Swedish it is alltid två ll i alltid. It is the same word as always. In Swedish we always have two ll. So perhaps that explains why I continually do spell it with two ll instead of one.

There are so many improvements I would like to make to WordPress. If they had an normal form for e-mailing them I would suggest a lot of improvements for them. However publishing them online on a forum – I dislike that. So therefore they do not get professional advice for free. Their loss… and mine too somehow. I do not like companies that use forums. If they do not wanna give away email-addresses they can let users send forms that are NOT published forever. That are deleted after replies.  The technologies for that do exist. Just saying.
