I have created 4 paintings during this weekend. Three are colourful abstracts, one is actually portraying someone. I am thinking if I could make at least 10 good pieces. That would be a nice goal. Now I think I have three pieces that I think are good. 7 more of those would be nice. It takes time, they are not 5 minute scetches like most of my images usually are. I am a speed painter. Haha. Well, anyways, I put some hours actually to the three good pieces. I usually am a hard painter. It is because I want solid colours. This I could go around if I did acryllic paintings instead. However I am not much for acryllic paintings, since I do not master those colours. I have one really big and good acryllic painting in Japanese style, that I made during one spring, during a couple of months, when attending university. I made is as a project there. That is a really good one. I should really make a pair to it… I have the canvas. But I am lacking the inspiration to make such a big painting. Well… I would really much enjoy having access to a studio. I could share space with others. But it would have to be really cheap… afterall I am not a millionaire.
Perhaps I would visit a gallery with my paintings… if I had 10 good pieces…hmmm…..
I must start by saying: Thank you for making such a good movie. It is all about a women caught up in a faith that she really couldn’t help. One could think she was naive to get into this mess, but she was anything but naive. This is indeed a story about a women, a girl, who is all but a victim according to some American norms of a stupid blonde in some parody movies like Scream or something like that. This is a story about a strong, smart, intelligent women, not just mentally strong, but also intelligent. She is fast and rapid and really understands her environment fully. The story is complete and well done, as many French movies are. It is a story about someone framing you for something you haven’t done.
So I give this movie a strong four out of five big stars. I seldom give five stars, only a few movies over the years have gotten five from me. Solens rike (Empire of the sun) by Steven Spielberg is such a movie that I give five to, just so you understand what I think is a good movie.
If you feel like seeing a thriller with action, realistic portraits of people and women, then this is the movie for you. Lay all the blonde comments back into the closet and enjoy a smart, intelligent women that is woven into a strange reality. The main characters are played by Eric Cantona and Karine Vanesse. Katrine Vanesse makes a good performance of this strong and intelligent women.
Girls as young as four years old are sold as slave to strange men in Pakistan, according to this videoclip from YouTube. Tribal elders are behind decisions to sell the young girls. Certain parts of Pakistan are not under the normal judgement systems. They have justice at these elders. Pakistan is trying to expand the modern court system the women beeing interviewed.
Women do not seem to have the same rights, if you read between the lines in this video.
Maybe it´s time to start to reform all these parts of the world were women are less worth more aggressively through peaceful methods to change the mens perspective on women. Men need to understand that without women there would be no men. No men at all. The humans would die out. Maybe it´s for the best, as we are consuming the mother earth resources wihtout any thought on how we impact the eco-system.
The world is very unequal in many aspects. And it´s us humans that are the driving force. Why do we not use it to do good? Why?
See the video I am reffering too here:
A man that had a fast growing tumour in his heart had to choose an ordinary option, remove his hart and replace it with a artifical pump (heart). This is the second time such a heart replacement surgery has taken place. The first man died from his disease within a month.
The only thing different is that he is missing his pulse the man on DN.se says. The operation took place in Czech Republic, all information above in this article is from DN.se.
I think it´s cool that we now have this option. The man will live with this artificial heart until there is a human one available. I wonder how many artifical parts we are going to be able to have in the future? When does the soul leave our body? Where is the soul located? Not in the heart… since this man has been living with the pump for 4 months.
How many parts can be replaced before we are like the “borg”? The borg are a species from a sci-fi series named Star Trek. They are enhanced by technology and parts of fully functioning bodies are replaced by artificial body parts. Not that much different really, except the assimilation…
