Electronic waste in areas in China

Our world is being polluted with our old electronics. They are not really made for recycling, all those electronic components you are using. Still you long for the new mobile phone, even a smart phone, even though you already have a fully functioning phone. Still you crave the latest technology, without consideration of the environment, isn’t it so?

So why do you crave for things that aren’t necessary at all? Life isn’t about you getting all the latest technologies when ever they release a new product. Yet you want it. I think that you should think a little. Why do you crave it? Is it because you want to fit in? Join the crowd? Is it because of the smart ad people who create the demand in you primitive brain? I would know it is an combination of both, since the ad people use all those attributes to make you want the stuff they want you to want.

Why do you even think we have fashion? We have fashion solely to create demand on stuff. Stuff you really do not need if you already have everything you need. Some  say consuming helps the world go around. Yeah, to a sure waste and death Earth. The answer isn’t more consuming. The answer is high end quality products easily recyclable. Stuff made in one material. Things easily dismantled for easy reuse. That it the way. The capitalistic society won’t go under due to taking care of the environment and consuming smarter.

I think it is time that you see your own involvement in the environment. So how many computers and phones do you have? Have you left them for recycling? I even want you to think of each time you replaced the hard drive in service. So, how much have you polluted the waste lands of China and Africa? In todays DN.se we could read about the waste lands of China, of areas where animals drink water in the waters nearby the waste lands of electronic waste. How the “recycling” is done is polluting the environment. The children, according to DN.se, have high levels of lead in these areas. Is this what you want each time you buy a new electronic product? Is it? Do you have children? By each product you buy you need to take responsibility for your own waste. Engage your self in the recycling. Try to make better products. Join the eco-system for real.

Fat people have less chance to die than skinny!!!

According to an article in SVD.se slightly obese people have a six percent less chance to die prematurely compared to skinny people. This has to be more researched of course. But I say to all you employers, don’t judge a book by its cover. A slightly obese person doesn’t have to be either lazier, nor less healthier. I am just saying. I think there are a lot of people who are home from work that are actually skinny. The fat people I more often see at work everyday. Also I see a lot more production from many medium obese persons.

I think it is very strange that we have the super skinny ideals in magazines and fashion. And also there was a, in my opinion, not to smart blogger that said negative things about obese people. Like all people can be grouped into labels. Science is often trying to label people. I do not really like it. All statistics are like this. Even though this is so, statistics rule the world in many aspects. I even work with statistics, but I do not compare it with others I compare my own production with me when I make statistics. This way I know something has changed or not in the production. Well, that is another story of course.

But it is interesting to see that obese seems to protect against early death. Now we are not talking about heavily overweight obesity that can be dangerous. skinniness is also dangerous and can increase you dying earlier than you should if you put on some extra pounds. Just saying. Everything isn’t always as you think it is.

A medium overweight person is after all a good role model to all you people who have said the opposite. Now research shows you must think again.

All insurance companies must reevaluate their policies. Many cannot get life insurance for the same amount of money that others with regular BMI can. Obese persons are many times discriminated in this society of hours.

Third eye on young girl..

…on class photo. Not that she has one for real, because she doesn´t. But on the catalouge with all classes she had a third eye in her forehead on all the photo´s of her class.

As compensation the company sent out a new catalouge to all students and payed 1500SEK to the girl.

I can imagine that this wasn´t such a nice mistake and the company has no idea of how come this happend. They only retusch is someone has a closed eye or something like that, but in this class there was no such thing.

Well. I am just saying, better having a closed eye than a third eye on a class photo.

Finally friday

I am going to take is easy. Just relax. Nothing wrong with that. After all its friday and this week has been real busy. My brain has gone on 100% this past week and now I am going to eat some sallad, enjoy that my stiches have been removed, that the flash that hit the ground 2m in front of me didn´t kill me (yes I and the man behind me screamed), enjoy having my animals around me, see a nice movie (I haven´t rented them, so we´ll se how good they are) and just relax. Jepp, that is my friday. Hope yours will be nice too!
