Switzerland is going to vote for a legislation forbidding high bonuses and parashoots for top management, according to a DN article. According to the article a majority of the swiss will vote for the tuffer legislation.
The Swiss citizens of Switzerland have understood that the CEO bonuses and top boss bonuses and so on are really are dangerous for a society. They further increase the differences between the regular people and the rich. Top management already has really high salaries so giving top management further money on bonuses and such is bad when the people doing the real work really get no extra money. I think that bonuses should be forbidden all over the world. If any money are given they shouldn’t be state financed or have pension companies or other tax payer money as owners. The only thing that I think people could be given is an incentive, but that is usually not a couple of million, more just a few thousands. But if one can get it, everyone at the company should be able to get that too. The fair thing is to let everyone take part in an incentive if the company makes profit. Otherwise no-one should get it, in my opinion. I think it is insane to give millions or even less like hundreds of thousands in bonuses. That is like a higher salary for the lowest paid in that company.
All countries should forbid bonuses. Follow the Swiss is my advice.
