An environmentalist cannot be a smoker

Smoking pollutes the air for everyone. Passive smoking kills other’s life in pretime. Smoking causes mutations in your body, not just yours, all that are affacted by your smoking get mutations. Mutations that can turn into cancer.

As a smoker you can never be a friend of the environment, of any life really. Woods are needed, chemicals are needed in the manufacturing of cigarettes. So if you are  a true friend and pro life you should quit smoking now. You should never have started actually, so if you want to do the right thing you never smoke again.

Underneath is the British health organisations anti smoking ad campain. Don’t lit that cigarette.

Facebook doesn´t want to stop net bullying?

In todays Aftonbladet.se we can read about Friends campain against net bullying of youth. Friends is a Swedish organisation that works with enlightment and prevention of bullying overall in Sweden. Many schools in Sweden use the anti bullying kit by Friends.

When Friends, according to Aftonbladet.se, made a campain with a Facebook application, with a virtual bullier, so that adults could feel how it felt to be net bullied Facebook stopped the application. They didn´t want to lend out their trademark for anything. Not even a good cause.

Can it be so that Facebook might be afraid of parents allowing their kids to use Facebook when they realize that Facebook is dangerous and actually could make their kids feel even worse? The bullying gets much bigger if it is online too and not just in school. I think many parents should need to use a application like Friends have invented, then maybe they wouldn´t allow their kids to run free on the Internet.

I am against forums like Facebook for anyone under 18. Facebook used to have a age limit before, but removed it.

Well, I think that it was overall a bad choice by Facebook to close down Friends application after just 12 hours. Don´t they want people using Facebook and beeing nice? Facebook Sweden originally said ok, according to the article. However I guess Mark didn´t agree…

I think Mark should reconsider. Do you see how much power you all 900 million Facebook users are giving his social forum? Do you really want him to have that power? Unregister your profile and get all your friends to do that to, then his power would soon say *poff* and be gone. You users have enormous power on the Internet. Hence the competitior is only one click away, as usability experts would say.
