There is only so much berries in the Swedish woods as there is. This means that there cannot be too many berry pickers. This year to many came. This is a problem both for the people from Bulgary that came to pick the berries and for the Swedes. Since they Bulgarian berry pickers cannot make money on picking berries they cannot transport themselves back home. This costs the Swedish state a lot of money in time and effort. Trying to provide safe home journeys by busses must be handled by people. People cost money.
I hope that there won´t be to many berry pickers anymore. We cannot keep financing peoples dreams of a better future when we cannot provide it to them. We cannot give jobs that do not exist. Who fooled all these berry pickers to come? To come in vain to Sweden that did not have enough berries to provide. Who started the hipe?
It´s just sad for everyone. The Bulgarians shouldn´t come to pick berries and think that the Swedes will provide a ticket home. There should be a real job on paper for those that come, not empty promises. If no papers – no job. Its not more difficult than that. Don´t come if you have not got any real paper on a offered job. Don´t come if you haven´t checked the company really exists and has income. Don´t come and waist your time. Better you go somewhere where there is a real job, so that you can spend it on your real dreams and not waist your time.
